What is "Energy Work"?
Our Body
We have a physical body, mental body, spiritual body, and energy body. Our Energy Body has an Aura, Chakras, and Meridians. Our Energy Body requires care, love, and attention just as much as our physical body. (All the "Bodies" require care.) There are many modalities available to choose from.
AURA: Subtle energy field that surrounds the physical body.
CHAKRAS: Energy centers located along the spinal column that receive, process, and express Prana. Each is connected to specific organs, emotions, and color.
MERIDIANS/NADIS: Channels and pathways throughout the body that carry energy and connect to the Chakras. (Similar to veins and nerves of the physical body.)
Reiki & Pranic Healing
Reiki and Pranic Healing are two of the modalities I am certified in. Reiki promotes deep relaxation, strengthens the immune system, energizes and balances the whole body, relieves stress and anxiety, promotes pain relief, eases muscle tension, increases rate of recovery from injury, and brings peace to mind and body. Pranic Healing utilizes prana or life energy to heal the physical body. It removes blocked or diseased energy and replaces it with fresh prana which accelerates the bodies natural healing process. An experience that resonates with the soul and is sometimes hard for our logical minds to understand. That's what makes it magical.
